Energy Video Learning points:

  1. Energy cannot be destroyed
  2. Energy can only be converted (to a different form) or transferred (from one thing to another thing that possessed the same form of energy)
    Energy Conversion
  3. Kinetic energy is affected by speed and mass
    The faster the object travels, the more kinetic energy it has
    The heavier the object travels, the more kinetic energy it has
  4. Gravitational potential energy is affected by height and mass
    The higher the object is, the more gravitational potential energy it has
    The heavier the object is, the more gravitational potential energy it has
  5. Kinetic energy is usually the opposite of gravitational potential energy.

Respiration and Photosynthesis With air quality going downhill, there may be chances that we need to carry plants around as our oxygen tank.  The working mechanism is based on 2 simple concepts of Primary 5 Science, Respiration and Photosynthesis.  As seen from the picture, the man is wearing a mask connected to the plant. As the man respires, it gives out carbon dioxide.  The carbon dioxide, together with water and light, the green plant with cholorphyll photosynthesises and produces oxygen for the man to respire and survive.   A summary of the both respiration and photosynthesis processes are below: Respiration Respiration is the breaking down of digested food with oxygen to produce energy. Today is my brother’s birthday!  J But that is not the main point. It’s because when I look at my calendar, there are 2 main events marked:  20 July 18  (69 days left to PSLE)  & my brother’s birthday. We are all running short of time.
